About the group
Behrens was founded in 1834, when textile merchant Sir Jacob Behrens established the business in the north of England during the Industrial Revolution, as Britain's textile industry transformed global manufacturing and trade.
Nearly two centuries later, we remain proudly family-owned, now in our sixth generation, continuing to uphold the values that have defined us since day one.
